Itinerary

✅ Start your journey from Guwahati in the morning towards Dirang, a picturesque town in the West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh.  ✅ Drive through scenic Tezpur road, Koliya Bhumura Bridge, and Nameri National Park  ✅ En route, visit Bhalukpong and Tipi Orchidarium, which houses over 500 species of orchids and other rare plants.  ✅ Stop at Tenga Valley for photos.  ✅ Visit Dirang Monastery.  ✅ Reach Dirang/Sangti Valley by evening and spend the night in a hotel/homestay/campsite.

✅ After breakfast, stay near the riverside in our Sangti Valley cottage and explore the hidden gems of Arunachal.  ✅ Explore Sangti Sheep Farm and London Bridge.  ✅ Start your journey towards Tawang (around 130 km from Dirang, approximately 5-6 hours).  ✅ On the way, visit Sela Pass, a high-altitude mountain pass at 13,700 ft.  ✅ Explore Sela Lake, a high-altitude lake.  ✅ Enjoy Maggie and tea at this high altitude for refreshment.  ✅ Visit Jaswant Garh War Memorial, near Sela Pass, dedicated to a brave soldier who fought in the 1962 Indo-China war. Learn about the Indo-China war and explore the war bunker.  ✅ Reach Tawang in the evening, check into your hotel, relax, and spend the night in Tawang.

✅ After an early breakfast, start your journey towards Bumla Pass, a high-altitude mountain pass at 15,200 ft, located on the India-China border. Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.  ✅ Visit the beautiful Madhuri Lake, also known as Shonga-Tser Lake, famous for its scenic beauty. The lake was renamed after the shooting of the Bollywood movie Koyla.  ✅ Visit PTSO Lake, a popular tourist destination offering breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains and lush green forests.  ✅ Visit Khinmey Monastery.  ✅ In the evening, explore the local market and enjoy some shopping. Return to Tawang and spend the night.

✅ Visit the famous Tawang Monastery, the largest monastery in India and an important center of Buddhism  ✅ Start your journey towards Bomdila/Shergaon.  ✅ On the way, visit the beautiful Nuranang Falls, known for its rainbow effect over sheer rocks into the Tawang River.  ✅ Visit Bomdila Viewpoint and explore Bomdila Monastery.  ✅ En route, visit Rupa Town.  ✅ Check into our stay in Shergaon in the evening.  ✅ Overnight stay in Shergaon.

✅ After breakfast, explore beautiful Shergaon. ✅ Visit Kiwi and Apple farms. ✅ Drive through the scenic Indo-Bhutan mountain landscape. ✅ Visit the Indo-Bhutan Gate. ✅ If time and permission allow, visit Bhutan County, Bhutan Village, and Bhutan Cafe within a 3 km radius (carry Aadhaar card and voter ID to enter Bhutan) ✅ En route, take photo stops at your preferred locations. ✅ Visit Bhairabkunda. ✅ Reach Guwahati in the evening and drop off at the airport for your onward journey. ✅ Trip ends in Guwahati with Happy Memories.
