Day 1: Arrival in Guwahati & Transfer to Shillong
Upon your arrival at Guwahati Airport or railway station, our representative will greet you and begin the scenic drive to Shillong. Along the way, we’ll stop to seek blessings at the sacred Maa Kamakhya Temple. The journey to Shillong is a visual delight, passing by the tranquil Umiam Lake and Nehru Park. The highlight of the day is a visit to the magnificent Laitlum Grand Canyons, a breathtaking viewpoint that gained fame as a shooting location for the movie “Rock On 2.” After an eventful day, you’ll check in to your hotel or homestay in Shillong. The evening is yours to explore Police Bazaar, enjoy some cafe hopping, and experience the vibrant nightlife of India’s “rock capital.”
Day 2: Shillong to Amlarem & Dawki
After a delicious breakfast, we’ll begin our drive to Amlarem. The day is dedicated to chasing spectacular waterfalls, starting with Krangsuri Falls, where you can swim in its mesmerizing turquoise waters. Next, we visit the captivating
Phe Phe Falls, a serene cascade considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the region.
Note: If you’re visiting in winter, you can witness the sunrise at Nongjrong, for which you’ll need to wake up around 2 a.m. to experience this epic view.
We’ll also make a stop at the India-Bangladesh border before checking in for an overnight stay in Dawki, Shnongpdeng, or Mawlynnong.
Day 3: Dawki, Mawlynnong & Cherrapunjee
Start your day with an early morning boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River in Shnongpdeng. Here, you can enjoy thrilling water sports like zip-lining, kayaking, and snorkeling. Next, we drive to Mawlynnong, famously known as Asia’s cleanest village.
You’ll take a short walk to discover the Single Living Root Bridge and the mysterious Balancing Rock. After a visit to the scenic Mawkdok Valley, we will proceed to Cherrapunjee for your overnight stay.
Day 4: Cherrapunjee Sightseeing
