Your adventure begins upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or railway station. Our representative will meet you for the scenic drive to Shillong, the capital of Meghalaya. Day 2: Shillong to Amlarem & Dawki (98 km)
After breakfast, we’ll drive to Amlarem. Today is dedicated to chasing waterfalls, starting with the magnificent Krangsuri Falls, where you can swim in its turquoise pool. Next, we visit the captivating Phe Phe Falls, considered one of the most beautiful waterfalls in India. We conclude the day with a visit to the Indo-Bangladesh border before checking in for your overnight stay at a campsite near the cleanest river in Asia, the Umngot, in Dawki or Shnongpdeng.
Day 3: Dawki, Mawlynnong & Cherrapunjee
Start your day early with a thrilling boat ride on the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River in Shnongpdeng. Optional water sports like zip-lining and kayaking are also available. From there, we drive to Mawlynnong village, known as Asia’s cleanest village. You’ll explore the village, see a single living root bridge, and marvel at the Balancing Rock. After a stop at Mawkdok Valley, we will proceed to Cherrapunjee for your overnight stay.

Day 5: The Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek

Day 6: Explore Kongthong – The Whistling Village & Shillong
Today, we take you on a truly unique cultural experience to Kongthong Village. This village is famous for its age-old tradition of using a distinct melody or tune as a name for each individual. After immersing ourselves in this fascinating culture, we drive back to Shillong. In the evening, you can enjoy some cafe hopping, explore Police Bazaar for some shopping, and experience the city’s vibrant nightlife. You’ll have your overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 7: Offbeat Meghalaya: Sacred Forest & Mawsynram
On this offbeat day, we drive to the mystical Sacred Forest of Mawphlang. These protected woods are held in reverence by local tribes and are a rich haven for biodiversity. After a spiritual walk through the forest, we’ll explore Mawsynram, officially the wettest place on Earth, for a unique and memorable experience.
We’ll also visit the offbeat village of Mawlyngbng before returning to Shillong for our final overnight stay.
