Day 2 – Lachung Beckons: Indulge in a delicious breakfast before embarking on a breathtaking 103 km road journey from Gangtok to Lachung. * On arrival at Bagdogra (IXB) Airport/ New Jalpaiguri (NJP), get greeted by our representative. * From here, you will board our vehicle for Gangtok. * Enjoy your scenic drive to Gangtok through the meandering roads, along the Teesta River * On arrival in Gangtok, you will be transferred to a comfortable hotel for the overnight stay. * Take a stroll in the famous M G Marg during your evening free time. This place is magical and has plenty of good restaurants and cafes!
* After having a delicious breakfast in the morning, you will get ready for the 103 km road drive from Gangtok to Lachung (8,700 ft.), North Sikkim. The road journey from Gangtok to Lachung will be amazing, as you will see some sightseeing spots like * Twin Waterfalls, * Seven Sisters Waterfalls, * Naga falls and * Singhik View Point is known for offering an all-encompassing views of the high mountains, including Mount Kanchenjunga, and other neighbouring spots. * On arrival in Lachung, you will check into your hotel/homestay * Overstay at the hotel/Homestay
* Post breakfast, hop into your vehicle, as on day 3 you will be going to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft.) also known as the Valley of Flowers. Yumthang Valley is a paradise for nature lovers, as the lush greenery, hills, and magnificent scenery make for a beautiful and mesmerizing landscape. * If you want to explore Yumesamdong Valley or Zero Point(optional) (15,000ft), you need to inform us in advance as an extra cost of . Rs 3500/- per vehicle is charged for permits * Upon completing the sightseeing, we will start our drive back to Gangtok. * Reach Gangtok and check-in to the hotel for an overnight stay.
* After breakfast, we will proceed for a full-day excursion around Gangtok. * We will start by visiting the glacial Tsomgo Lake also known as Changu Lake, known for its scenic beauty and changing colors. * Further, we drive towards the Baba Mandir, dedicated to Baba Harbhajan Singh who was a soldier of the Indian Army. * Next, visit Nathula Pass, which is an Indo-China border post (There is an additional cost of Rs. 3500/ per vehicle.)Monday and Tuesday the pass is closed * Return back to Gangtok for an overnight stay.
